The Judge and Jury

A brief introduction of our League History was outlined in “From Little Acorns” in the preceding pages. Mention was made of the “father” of the LSA League, Chris Johnson, and certainly no other person has had such a single impact in the creation and destiny of our League.  Happily, under the guidance of our present Chairman, Peter Blakeley, your Committee appears to have reached a fairly settled period in time. Our General Secretary, Alan Senior, has been at the helm now for some five years or so and continues to provide his wisdom and knowledge whenever necessary. His able

counterpart from Ashton Gardens, Jeff Peace, has taken over the mantle of Treasurer, vacated at the last AGM by Bob Straughton, and Geoff Worden continues in the role of  Results Secretary. Geoff is also acting as Competitions Secretary in 2008.
